Global investment planning process: fostering quality-assured deliveries to investors, publishing yearly global guidance and global reporting calendar.
Monitoring key metrics of Corporate targets (net income contribution to investors).
Ad-hoc report design and scenario analysis to support management decisions, e.g. top-down projected P&L plan/actual deviations (by sector, region, asset class, P&L line item), stress tests in look through and investor view levels.
Quarterly investment controlling report of business development and its key drivers (AUM, Performance, P&L and Unrealized Capital Gains & Losses).
Contribute to the reporting activities to CFO, Head of Investment controlling and other group functions.
Cross functional process and reporting between IPC and Asset Management teams. Design and implementation of global processes within the company and with other group internal stakeholders. Analyse large sets of data and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Ensure consistent financial data quality framework.
Evaluate and presentation of financial performance to ExCo and investors.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as the real estate investment team, investor accountants and cash management in addition to external managers.
Drive the ongoing development of the IPC area, in particular:
Drive development and implementation of effective controlling tools, methods and procedures.
Enhancement and implementation of reporting systems for investors and in-house stakeholders.
Lead transformational and IT projects within the finance area as well as various ad-hoc projects to address pressing issues facing IPC.
Successfully completed study degree (ideally specialised in one of controlling, accounting, tax or finance)
6+ years’ experience in a comparable position, e.g. audit company, controlling, investment management and/or accounting department
Above-average commitment and persistence in carrying out projects and tasks in a highly transformational environment
Solutions-oriented and positive mind-set; stamina; self-initiative
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, in particular Excel. Experience with programming language beneficial
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, especially IFRS
Spoken and written English skills at negotiation level are a prerequisite
Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
Strong communication skills and persuasive power
Used to work in a multicultural business environment
2nd European language would be an appreciated plus
Knowledge in German and/or US GAAP would be an appreciated plus
Real estate experience would be an appreciated plus
