Business Development Manager - Block Management

£55,000 - £60,000 plus bonus structure

Our client is a block management company focused on the Build to Rent market who have forged a place at the forefront of the industry today. With large schemes managed across the UK they have grown rapidly over the past several years and continue to do so. Client service delivery and a focus on the resident is at the heart of what they do, putting customers and their residents first and playing a key role in new vibrant communities.

They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join them and continue with this success story, playing a pivotal role in expanding the number of managed residential schemes in their portfolio.

Ideally you will have existing block management experience and be well connected within the industry. You will prospect for new accounts, retain existing accounts, and increase opportunities with existing customers. You will be the face of the company in this field and will have the dedication and passion to create and apply an effective sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.

Key duties will include:

  • Light up their CRM application with all your appointments, pitches, forecasted revenue, estimates, and orders
  • Understand, support, and convey the organisation's mission, vision, strategy, culture, goals, and objectives
  • Understand and respond to potential client's needs and objectives
  • Lead and guide the proposal team from inception through completion
  • Manage significant new business tender exercises
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients
  • Identify new Block Management prospect database.
  • Be responsible for originating new business opportunities through existing industry contacts as well as mining opportunities from existing clients.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
