Position: Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 (DOE) + benefits including company car or allowance, 25 days holiday, pension, private health cover and discretionary bonus
Location: South East (would suit an individual based in Berkshire / Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Surrey / North Hampshire)
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning Contractor.
This truly autonomous role will find you supporting a variety of projects and frameworks working across the whole project commercial life cycle. This will be highly beneficial to your ongoing professional development due to your full exposure to pre and post contract commercial functions, including negotiating and closing out final accounts.
Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, predominantly under the NEC form of contract, you will manage between £10 - 15m of revenue per annum.
There is no micro management and our client understands that you don't need to commute to an office every day to excel in this role. You will be able to work remotely, from site or the office... your choice. You will be trusted to deliver and judged on your results.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
-Analysis of tender allowances
-The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts
-Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates
-Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
-Subcontract and Design Procurement
-Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
-Preparation of cost to complete
-Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations
-Cash management and maximisation
-Provision of standard report
-Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
-Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports
To succeed as a Quantity Surveyor, it is anticipated that you:
-Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar and have a minimum of 4 years of post graduate experience gained working in the Civil Engineering sector in the UK
-Have experience of working under the NEC form of contract
