- 12 April 2018
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Contract Administrator to join a boutique Infrastructure and Construction focused Consultancy.
Joining an established and close knit team on an existing commission, this niche role will find you leading on the strategic drafting of NEC contracts across a significant Rail investment programme.
The scope of work will be highly technical and varied covering Stations, Civil Engineering, Track, HV power, MEP and Depots.
Your main objective will be to proactively develop the commercial and contractual procedures that will be necessary to control the commercial aspects of the programme, covering pre contract and post contract award.
You will work very closely with a variety of internal stakeholders including Programme and Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Assurance etc
This opportunity would suit an individual who has strong experience in NEC Contract Administration who is interested in applying this knowledge to a drafting role. To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you:

-Ideally hold further qualifications, perhaps an LLB or similar in Construction law
-Have strong and demonstrable exposure to administering and applying the NEC form of contract
-Demonstrate collaborative behaviours
-Be an excellent communicator
-Be able to present, negotiate and influence others
