We are seeking a passionate Bid Writer for a leading Multidisciplinary Engineering Company. This role would suit an individual who is passionate about writing and has a demonstrable track record in producing high quality and winning proposals, ideally working on Public sector contracts.
Our client is focused solely on identifying an individual who is an Artist with the pen. As such, they are extremely flexible in considering 'out of industry' Writers who have an interest in exploring the Engineering and Infrastructure sector. However, if you have experience of working in the Built Environment then this would be beneficial to an application.
They also understand that writing does not need to be done from the office everyday so you will have every opportunity to work from home and avoid unnecessary rush hour travel.

As a Bid writer, you will:
-Lead the development of proposals that provide clients with solutions to their challenges
-Support operational delivery teams to produce high quality proposals to clients
-Engage with the business to identify solutions and personnel to put forward to clients
-Take part in tender kick-off meetings
-Lead the development of capability insights
-Develop internal CVs into focused profiles for customers
-Document and manage all proposal and bid work both during and after completion of submissions.
To be considered for this role, it is anticipated that you have:
A proven ability to prepare proposals
-Excellent written communication skills
-A passion for writing and a keen eye for detail
-Excellent communication skills as you'll work with a broad range of internal stakeholders and strategic partners
-The ability to identify key messages and present information in a clear and concise manner
-Very strong time management skills
-Hold a degree level qualification in a relevant subject (for example. English language)
