Position: Financial Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + 20/30% + Profit Share scheme

Location: London

Cobalt are working with a real estate investment and development business operating an opportunistic strategy across the UK, on behalf of an international family office. The founding members of the team have been working together for close to a decade and come from some of the most renowned Real Estate Investment intuitions in the world.

This opportunity to join their team as Finance Analyst would provide the successful individual with a chance to work directly with the CFO on broad and varied tasks with the end goal of the role to become a Financial Controller position within three years, of a firm that plans to invest £2bn into the UK Real Estate market during that time period.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understanding of internal Excel underwriting model to help create a link between the model and Investor reporting output
  • Assist with the auditing of the underwriting model for new opportunities and preparation of underwriting models and appraisals for potential transactions
  • Assist with bank debt covenant reporting
  • Group financial accounting and financial reporting
  • Assist with group level monthly and quarterly reporting to Investors
  • To help build out the team and take responsibility for shaping the finance function as the portfolio grows


  • Qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Experience in Property/Real Estate
  • Strong Excel skills required
