Our client operates as an accounting and consulting firm. The team offers financial analysis, investigative services as well as business litigation, post-acquisition disputes, and financial damages claim management to attorneys, corporations, regulatory agencies and individuals. The company has been actively working for clients for over 13 years in the US and Europe. Today, dedicated consultants located in cities around the world work on litigation projects, compliance, and monitoring investigation within the financial services sector.


Thanks to the growth of European operations, the consulting team in Germany is currently looking for a (Senior) Project Manager (m/f) to provide project management office support related to corporate compliance monitoring.The seasoned compliance manager/consultant will be required to use his/her long track record within the financial services industry to drive forward the work of the local team and should provide project coordination. S/He should have gained experience through project management office roles in large programmes of activities. Candidates will be working in Lower Saxony or Bavaria and reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.    



  • Supervise the consistent application of compliance & monitoring practices in Germany

    • Coordination of monitoring the senior leadership team diaries/schedules

  • Ensure that deadlines related to project plan are met, including development of templates, such as gantt charts to provide status of meeting deadlines

  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff, workstream leaders and working group members of a large engagement as well as the senior management the USA

  • Coordination of engagement team interactions, including arranging, attending, and taking minutes of team meetings and calls

  • Keep diaries of all working group client meetings up to date  and keep track of on-site visits in the US and Germany

  • Maintenance of team SharePoint portal, monitoring and tracking of postings concerning products

  • Communication, distribution and maintenance of programme administrative protocols, including:

    • Engagement team contact list

    • Time and expense protocols

    • Engagement team work product templates

  • Oversight and tracking administrative on-boarding of new team members, including eg independence/conflict questionnaires, NDAs, badges for access to client sites, activation of email accounts, access to SharePoint portal, access to Relativity database, and coordinating training related to email accounts, SharePoint portal, Relativity database, etc.

  • Logistical support on-site, including

    • Support with access to client sites

    • Maintaining details of flight, hotel and transport options

    • Negotiation of preferential rates at hotels where there are regular trips planned; and

    • Diary of key dates, including public holidays

  • Liaison with third-party service providers, including those providing translation and interpretation services

  • Coordination and assistance with various on-site office needs, including printing documents, office supplies, support for large on-site team meetings, etc.

  • Liaison with counterparts on the client PMO team

  • Working closely with and reporting directly to the senior management in the USA




  • Above average successfully completed university degree

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the area of project management support within professional services or as a project manager for large corporate projects and initiatives

  • Excellent knowledge in the areas of compliance and monitoring, accounting, and the common legal structures

  • Energetic, resourceful with the ability to take the initiative and make informed decisions

  • A proactive/diligent individual

  • Team player

  • Strong leadership & people management skills

  • Good spoken and written English language skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively in English and German
